Swinburne College’s English Language Intensive Course for Overseas Students (ELICOS) is designed to improve your academic English language skills. The program levels start from English for Academic Purposes (EAP) 3 through to EAP 5 providing direct pathways into Swinburne’s certificate, diploma, bachelor, master and even PhD courses. You learn communication skills for a higher level of study and how to think critically. These classes use scientifically supported learning strategies and real-world case studies. You’ll learn how to analyse and respond to a range of current media.
